How It Works
Once you make an appointment, we connect on Zoom. Here are all the details:
Pick an appointment in the scheduler. Sadly for me, I can’t do customized appointments at this time. As part of scheduling, you’ll get a few fast & easy intake questions, including your phone number, email and, if you have one, a web address. You’ll also be directed to read the Terms of Service (not to worry: they’re not pages long legalize); the most important point is that cancellations are accepted only 48 hours prior to appointment and incur a $25 admin fee.
Be sure to include the correct email so that you receive the Zoom link 1 day prior to the meeting. You can even copy and paste the meeting link into your calendar so that you don’t have to search email for it. Make sure you have Zoom on your computer or download it at zoom.us at least 2 days prior to the appointment, just in case you have any issues downloading and need to resolve with Zoom.
If for some reason you aren’t able to work with Zoom, just let me know and we can do a Facetime or phone call appointment.
Make your secure credit card payment (if paying through any other channel, you’ll still need to use this scheduler and pay with a card—any duplicate payment will be refunded the day of our appointment).
Log in 15 minutes early in case you need to solve any technical issues or just so you can just take a few deep breaths before we dive in. I’ll do the same :-)
During the meeting, we might just talk or I might open a whiteboard and share my screen with you.
After our meeting, I’ll send a brief follow up by email summarizing a few key points, possibly a helpful link or two if relevant, and a screen capture of a white board if we did one. If you want to continue to bounce ideas around, I’d love to do so in another appointment. You’re under no obligation to book additional consulting sessions or design services, however, you’re welcome to schedule more if you want to continue. Please make it at least 3 days later to give both of us time to digest what we discussed, let ideas percolate, and give you the window to cancel if needed.
